Welcome to my website. Thunderbyte.co.uk is a personal site which will be replacing my previous site fireblade7. Thunderbyte's main site is run using a Joomla CMS platform. Thunderbyte is dedicated towards bringing you safe surfin' habits. This site is family friendly and holds controlled advertisements without pop ups or re-directs.

 

 

Why the new site?
Yes the old site (fireblade7) was pretty new in itself. In realilty it was getting close to a year on. The hosting provider had begun to send me remininders to sign up for another years contract. If it had not been for the greed, the doubling of the price plan incorporated with a silly increase in price for the domain name then I would have stayed and expanded the site. Instead I have signed a new deal elsewhere on a longer term contract with a better deal. 

 

Why the name thunderbyte....?
Thunderbyte was a domain name I originally registered around 10 years ago for a possible business adventure. After things not going the way we had intentionally planned I let the domain name go. I breifly registered it again (mainly for experimental purposes) for a 1 year contract around 5 years ago, and once again let it go once the domain name expired. After holding it twice and feeling a little attached to the thunderbyte name, I have laid claims to the thunderbyte once again on a much longer term basis.

 

Thunderbyte Forums & Blog spot
Thunderbyte now has its own independent forums. This is not one of the free board that is supported by adverts, but one attached directly to thunderbyte's server. This means I have full control over the forums and maintainance. The forum is completley advertisement free ensuring that you will not get any pesky pop-up's or re-directs. Registration is needed in order to post which is free. A link to the forums can be found in the top menu.

Thunderbyte has also now incorporated a blog spot where IT news is displayed on a regular basis. A link to the up and comming popular blog spot can also be found in the top menu.

 

Advertisements and Advertising space
Thunderbyte is supported by affiliate marketing links through Amazon UK and Affiliate Window. I can guarantee that there are no pop ups from these ad's, nor do I make use of active x content or any other forms of aggressive marketing. Thunderbyte is in everyway is a secure site for you to browse on in a safe environment.
